A Celebration of the Senses

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope that wherever you find yourself today, you are surrounded by people you love and who love you right back, and that you are experiencing emotions of gratitude for your bounty.

Today, based on the wisdom of creative master, Roger von Oech, do your best to pay attention to the broad array of information that you are consuming – both literally and figuratively.  Use all of your senses.  If you are visually oriented, sure, look around, and then try something new… close your eyes and focus on what you hear.  Take in the aromas emanating from the kitchen… is that roasted turkey or maybe nutmeg and cinnamon you’re smelling?  For the analytically oriented, pause and focus on how you are feeling – let your sense of thankfulness and appreciation wash over you.  If you are intuitive, concentrate on the logic of the situation (and, hey, don’t let Uncle Chuck’s political rant get you revved up… instead, get more pie).  Use of all your senses will help you to take in the moment, intensify your awareness of what’s around you, and amplify your engagement.

Wishing you happiness, health, peace and abundance for things good on this day.  I am grateful to you for your participation in and commitment to the CLC Community.  Thank you!

Happy Networking!
