  1. I am half-way through Coffee Lunch Coffee and love it. I can’t wait to start putting many of your tips into action. I feel your book gives an excellent and succinct guide for anyone looking to cultivate their networking skills. It is also very well written.

  2. I second Maureen’s comments. I just finished Alana’s book yesterday morning and thought it was excellent. It’s obvious she wrote it from the perspective of “been there, done that”, but at the same time she offers plenty of great advice from others.

It’s chock full of actionable ideas, exercises to get you started, true stories to motivate you, anecdotes that will make you smile and good quotes (from others) to ponder.

What really resonated with me, and sold me, was her over all approach to networking. For example, in Chapter Two she writes, “…you must value quality over quantity” and “…it is important to remember that networking is about long-term relationship building versus short-term, one-time benefit”.
